Valuable cargo is defined by IATA as goods valued at over $1,000USD per kilo. This commonly includes jewels, cash, medical equipment, bank documentation, high couture fashion, but mostly precious artwork.

Precious shipments need special attention to ensure safe and secured transport. Valuable shipments are treated with extra care. They are handled under specific security measures from acceptance to delivery in accordance with local regulations and conditions both at origin and destination.

In the air transportation, such cargoes have a VAL code.

WCARGO has extensive experience in the air transportation of high-value goods from Finland around the world.

We believe that the air freight are the best way to deliver the VAL goods for long destination.

WCARGO provides safe and quick transportation with personal service for each and every customer at the best tariffs.

Packages shall be adequately packed in such manner that it becomes immediately apparent when the outside wrapping is broken. It is the shipper responsibility to assure that packaging is tamper evident ant that the packages are sealed with adequate seals.
Inadequately packed or damaged shipments are not accepted for transport, e.g. transparent plastic materials that reveal the contents of the shipment or other wrapping materials of poor quality.
All packages are to be carefully examined at the time of acceptance for any sign of defect. Each package is to be check-weighed and weights verified against documents.
All packages are to be securely closed and contents tightly packed.

ATTENTION: When ordering a rigid package, the transportation price increases due to the increase in cargo dimensions.

After packing and air preparation, the cargo is delivered under protection to the air terminal, where also to be in the safe or in the protected area.

Of course, we recommend, also insure this cargo.
The carrier's liability for cargo (VAL) is standard. The tariff increase is caused by additional security at the loading and unloading terminals.

Tariffs for air freight services depend on the nature, weight and volume of the cargo being transported, the distance between the point of departure and the destination, and other factors,
therefore the rate for air transportation is calculated individually for each type of cargo transported.
